Does anyone else remember this band from Philly that barely broke out back in the day? I had their s/t CD at one time, but lost it somewhere along the way. Maybe the Metal Madman needs to play some cuts from Heaven's Edge soon. :D Cock rock...I friggin' love it!

From Philly, so yes I remember them, liked them, bought the cassette, and still listen to the MP3s on rare occasion. "Skin to Skin' was not their best. Check out "Find Another Way" or "Come Play The Game" from the debut.

I can't decide whether this is awesome or god-awful. It's definitely slightly more aggressive than most cock rock, though.

Palabra, don't deny that you love it dude! :heh:

Madman, I would've just given up if you didn't like them!

Heaven's Edge is great stuff.

Yep, homegrown boys for you I see. They supposedly did a reunion show back in 2007 in Philly.

It's funny, because the lead singer and guitarist both look like members of Dream Theater!

I also have the cd. Good stuff. I'll have to check my catalog I remember buying something else they put out a few years back.

I picked up the S/T. Excellent disc. One of my favorite cock rock albums to spin for sure.

I need to get my hands on another copy soon.

I have a couple of their cds, but I forget off hand which at the moment. I can check after work.

Guys, I believe they only have two discs, the s/t and one they put out in 99'. This band was a vapor trail before they even arrived! It looks to me like they only made one video, which was for Skin To Skin.

There is only 2 official CD;s released. The self titled, and "Some other place some other time".

There is a rare demo tape out there as well as a great LIVE bootleg. Good stuff. One of the better "cock rock" or "hair bands" that existed along with bands such as Babylon A.D., XYZ, Lillian Axe, and the list goes on.

Of course I am a huge fan of this genre so I follow it as religiously as I do the Power/Prog Metal!

Yeah I look and I have their self titled and 2 versions of "Some Other Place .....". The MTM Music version and the Perris Records version that has 6 bonus tracks.

Southgang was another one Metal Edge liked to mention. Of course now Butch Walker has a cult following haha.

One of my favorite non talked about gems is.....

I finally got my hands on both the Heaven's Edge s/t debut and Some Other Place, Some Other Time. I'm going to as far as to say, the debut is as good and overlooked as the Badlands debut! They're two totally different vibes, but equally as good in my opinion. If you like melodic hard rock, but refuse to give this a listen, then it's your loss. :notworthy By the way, the drummer David Rath is one hell of a drummer! :kickass:
