A pair of monitors in the 300eur price range?

Yeah dude, still not a bad word about them. I still like their sound and haven't have any reliability issues. The only thing that bothers me is the limited low-end the 5" woofer causes, but that's pretty self-explanatory. I'm probably going for a pair of bigger Events when it's time to move up from these, but I'm still very satisfied and don't feel like bigger monitors would be a must-to-get yet.

Thanks for the response man, the lack of low-low end is the only thing that puts me off. I'm tempted to wait for a used set of TR8's to come up on eBay instead but these ALP5's seem like such good value for the quality.

Yeah, it's a shame. Considering the quality of the ALP5's I feel pretty confident on moving on to TR8's when the time comes '
