A question about Transmetal

I'm a big fan of the Mexican metal band Transmetal and I know James has worked with them producing and I think also guest soloing on a song. My question is: How did James hook up with Transmetal? Does James speak spanish? (Transmetal sings in spanish, though they have some songs in english).
On a side note I saw Transmetal live this past december and they just about blew the roof of the place! They really rock!

the stuff i played on and recorded never came out because it was never finished. i ran out of medication in CA while working on it and had to return to FL. the assistant on the session was delegated the responsibitly to do the mix but for some reason the whole thing just fell apart after i left. it's still up in the air as far as i know.
