after trying out most of the latest amp sims I went back to the guitarsuite JCM900 and man I just can't get over how good that thing sounds when dialed in right. a while back someone posted the instructions to disable the cab but I can't for the life of me remember how. does anyone remember this?

I love Guitarsuite JCM900 and Juicy77(Soldanoclone), its the only vst ampsim that sounds good.
But damn I love my Pod XT through my MosValve poweramp.

I can't remember if I saw it here or not but it was either instructions on how to disable the cab or it was the plugin file already disabled. I think it was about a year ago. I'll keep searching.

Check this out too!

Its just posted today

I'm also very interested, but according to that and other threads, making "reverse impulses" is not a trouble free affair.

Partly because the "information" taken out by the hardware preamp or amp sim (usually by a low pass filter) or whatever is essentially lost once the sound leaves that hardware or plugin.

This seems more usable than the curve eq matching method, because that isn't realtime.
