Here's the story...

I already own a Jackson PS3-T. I am getting a custom Jackson Rhodes style 7 string. The specs for the 7 are:

Pearl redburst finish (matching headstock)
Reverse Headstock
Black chrome hardware
Floyd Rose double locking tremolo
Semour Duncan humbuckers (both Duncan Distortion)
3 way toggle switch
1 volume knob
Custom inlays (possibly roman numerals instead of dots)

That's what the 7 string specs are. My 6 string as of now is:

Black finish (matching headstock)
Normal Headstock
Black hardware
Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo
Jackson humbucker in neck pos./Seymour Duncan at bridge
3 way toggle switch
2 volume knobs
1 tone knob
Dot inlays

After I get the 7 and save enough money, I'm going to put my 6 through the transformation and have them both look the same.

Don't ask me why I'm telling you this, I just am.

Why buy a guitar I'll get ridiculed for as opposed to a custom Jackson?

Heard some bad stuff about the seven stringed Jacksons, that's why I'm tellin you. I doubt that you'd be ridiculed with a killer Ibanez axe :headbang:

Don't like Ibanez?

Not a huge fan of Ibanez guitars.

I'm going to check the price on my custom Jackson and see how it compares to the Music Man/Ernie Ball John Petrucci model. I'll get whichever is cheaper. :)
