Just to clarify, I have every Strapping Young Lad and Devin Townsend album. I also have Vai's Sex and Religion (which he does vocals on), and enjoy all of them a great deal. I would agree to an extant that the bands I mentioned are narrow in that they are primitive and simplistic, but I must wholeheartedly disagree about those bands sucking.
