I did answer pretty clearly,though,but there it is now.
And err,the song doesn't say "We will kick you in the ass" at any point,but Jonas does sing "We were kicking you in the head" and such.

I've always had a less literal interpretation of the song, I think it's about someone who makes a conscious effort to eliminate someone or something from his life and then realizes its importance and asks for repentance...of course, it could be about remorse for murder.

A long time ago I heard what Jonas told about this song. He read some mag and was shocked with senseless violence of some person and then he wrote this song.

Yeah,exactly,what I said is just Jonas' idea of the lyrics,something he said in a magazine. Of course you can draw your own ideas as much as you want to.

the lyrics always remind me of the story behind the movie "Flatliners". When Kiefer Sutherland get's back in his childhood memories and what he did to another boy. Someone knows the movie?
sorry about that but i tried yesterday to send my reply and it just wouldn't happen.the story about this song as jonas himself said:anders brought it to the studio while recording LFDGD it was nice and they decided to keep it.the rest of the band had already recorded their parts and had left the studio so they decided to use a drum machine.jonas had to come up with a idea for the lyrics fast and he remembered a story he had read in a newspaper about a murder and how the killers had been caught while trying to vanish the dead body so the lyrics represent their agony.sorry if i ruined your fantasies but thats the good about katatonia lyrics:they can be interpreted in so many ways!!!!

Ugh I cant stand this song at all.
The chorus is so banal and poorly written it really detracts from the brilliance of the rest of the cd.

i dont now how you feel, but when the "we must bury you, we must bury you, we must bury you" and so on comes, it really becomes quite irritating. definetly the worst song on the album.....
