a terrible event

BTW, to JoeVice...I dunno if you do this already, but when you have rare or tough-to-obtain CDs, it might do to burn yourself a backup copy to save yourself from withdrawals while you're waiting for a new CD, in the case of future accidents. ;)

watch, people will post along with me agreeing, some will post disagreeing, please don't, just stfu....let this thread drop to the bottom please...watch someone's gonna say something like "Tyrant what's your problem, what do you have lodged in your hole, etc..." well don't do it, I've already gotten your point, so don't respond...die...

Tyrant what's your problem, what do you have lodged in your hole?

YAY gj moonlapse. We dont need that crap here. BTW joe, are you 7' 400 pounds? cause last time i checked breaking a cd in 2 pieces is VERY hard to accomplish. Maybe its just cause those AOL bastards know how to spam cds and piss people off cause they cant get back at them by breaking them.. hehe.

I second that. I have at least 1 backup copy of EVERY cd I own, in case of damage/break/lost/theft/etc. or if someone wants to borrow a CD, I give them the backup in case they don't return it.

Look Tyrant, you are nothing special. There is someone like you at every message board. The self imagined 'Internet Tyrant' who attempts to belittle others for his own amusement. I admit, I have friends who do this. But your attempts aren't even worthy of a shit as an award.
The topic is interesting enough, and if you have a problem with that. Just don't fucking post in it you reject.
If the fact this thread exists really bothers you, just ignore it retard!
I suppose until you realise the wisdom in these words, you'll be wasting both your time and ours by filling this and other threads with useless and vapid collections of poorly spelled words and pointless paragraphs.
No one is going to get an award for what you are trying to do. So quit it.
No one here is stupid enough to find your modus operandi in the least bit intellectually stimulating. So get over yourself loser, and return to your preteen life.

He said he ripped it to his compy. :)
And BTW Tyrant, its not like u will actually be hearing any news about Opeth for a while. And if it is your favorite band, be nicer to the rest of the fans. The band pays to keep these boards with a friendly environment.

I tried to break a cd-r for the fun of it once.

Had to wedge it on the side of a table and push with both hands before it would even crack. :Smug:

personally i think what happened is really funny, we're just becoming too serious with these rules and the fact that the people has to be carful not to go offtopic and so...

stop whining about everything, people are not insulting, just telling something funny or music-related anyways.

you know opeth are not too serious with themselves too :P

That kind of thing happens with CDs. You find the pressure point and in a thumb press you'll find it broken in two. Friend of mine even broke a CD of his by inserting it into the CD-Rom incorrectly.

i figured that maybe leaving it in a hot, sunny, cold, humid, dry car for a few years wasn't the best idea either.

If you want REAL fun, stick a CD in the microwave and see what happens:muahaha: :heh: .
Oh yea ive done that a few times with my friend. Afterwards we take it outside and play baseball with it. Fun to watch it shatter into 10000 pieces hhehe
