Not one to toot my own horn but today is one year of no alcohol:yell: (except some NA's). So, everyone drink one for me(or NOT) and belch "Nice Fuckin' Life". (or any other Anthrax titles ...or whole lyrics if you're really good!!!)

Congratulations man. I tried to quit before and lasted almost a year. I'll be celebrating your feat with a glass of fine bourbon on the rocks later tonight.

Awesome. I remember you telling me that you didn't drink on the telephone, but couldn't remember what prompted you to quit. Non-the-less, great feat!!! If I were to drink tonight (I'm fighting off a tenacious flu-bug) I'd be kicking back what's left of my towns supply of Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale, or Sam Adams Winter (the spices in it are off the hook).

If I feel better by Slayer night (Sunday) I will drink one, I have a feeling the next day when I finally get a doctors appt. I'll be on antibiotics, so then no booze at all for a while.

Well done bass fellow! Quiting Alcohol is a very hard thing.
I thought about quiting alcohol today, because last night I drank too much at the atrocity-gig and my head exploded in the morning:ill: . But after 2 aspirin and 3 cup of coffee, I stopped thinking about it.
I stopped smoking 1 year ago after 15 years of heavy smoking. It was (and still is) as hard as a drug withdrawal.
But a life without alcohol? Man, THAT's too hard! I'm to weak for that (and I love my tasty Beer!)
Hats off, Bass fellow:rock:

Good for you Bass! On the 30th November I will celebrate the one year since I last got drunk, I´ve never been a heavy drinker so quiting would be easy but I enjoy a beer or a Long Island once in a while.

Congrats to everyone on here that is working on staying off the sauce or kicking the smoking habit. But Jockthrax, giving up the Brazilian whores? That's just crazy talk!
