Am I the only one who disagrees with the encouragement toward misinformed kids that MTV is stressing over? Yes, voting is one of the best attributes of being an american (shame most don't even do it). Though the difference I see between myself and many others who aren't spoonfed media hype and corporate music is that we're brought up to think for ourselves (the majority at least).
I find it highly unlikely that the mallcunts who view MTV on a regular basis are greatly informed about the issues and the two candidates competing against one another. Highschool students these days in an America that is becoming liberal are being forced to study on politics. Which is actually a good thing until you discover that most of what they are forced to study leans far to the left.
Michael Moore's docufakery "Farenheit 9/11" is being viewed in classrooms for study and education on today's politicians that are in office presently. Sadly, most of those students probably won't do any studying on their own to see the truth, and not what some lying fat fucker has to say about Bush (because when it comes down to it, Moore wants your money).
So I can appreciate that MTV believes in pushing the youthful America to vote. Yet sadly, I'm afraid those that view MTV will tend to believe that of which the media also feeds them about Bush. Causing them to be misinformed. Therefore I disagree wholly that MTV should push misinformed dumbfucks to vote. They're merely polluting the polls with their ignorance (I'm sure many other americans do as well ).
Also, you can say to "just vote" it's your right. But why vote when you don't have a clue about either side? Well, besides what the media tells you ... and that doesn't count.
