Every Scandinavian person I've met says go in the summer. I know some of you nature freaks out there adore the winter's doom, but if you're a tourist visiting, from what I hear the summers in Norway / Sweden are fantastic. BUT I HEAR FINLAND SUCKS! (j/k, but avoid the bath houses there unless you're looking for swarthy, middle aged Finnish men)
