Absolutely Amazing Band!!!

BE is their masterpiece in my opinion, but it is nothing like their other albums (which might appeal to you then :p ) it is also quite chaotic stylistically and has an amazing concept.

Sounds cool. I haven't found too much music that I would call prog metal that I would like, unless you consider Devil Doll's stuff prog or metal. Devil Doll is great.

Hahahahahha! I used to like Dream Theater, but then I realised they were too pretentious.

Hey, Got tickets for Feb,18th to see Dark Tranquillity, Devin Townsend and the Mighty Opeth, At Mr.Smalls Theatre in Millvale right outside of Pittsburgh. The theatre has a capacity of 650 heads, so it should be a cool show. I'm not familiar with DT's music, do they use death vox? In true musical opinions are they as good or better than Opeth. Hope someone can help me. BTW, I'm only 50,but I saw all the great older bands back in their prime. Black Sabbath-72,E.L.P.-72,Jethro Tull-72,Pink Floyd-73,Robin Trower-73,Led Zeppelin-73 etc. etc. I'm only 50 yrs old,but have always been open-minded to good music. All you gay blades out there that keep posting on this forum your in the wrong place. You belong on one of those gay-boy sites. This is a site where men love and respect women, at least I do. You should worry more about whether or not you like the music instead of what there sexual pref is. Get a manly life, loser. Michael Akerfeldt is married to a beautiful young lady and they have a little baby. Peace.

Well,Kenneth R. your Dad seems like he's way beyond cool, man. Being "only" 50 is better than taking a dirt nap. The way I lived my life I'm lucky I got past 35. So, will this show be brutal? I'm taking friends who never heard of these bands. I told them they play "mellow" rock. It will be great to see their reaction. They'll probably leave me sitting there in my whell-chair. Fuck'em. Mr Small's has a full bar. Peace.
