given the American dollar stayed constant compared to the Euro, I think it is the Canadians going down rather than the US dollar increasing. The dollar has been around 1.4 compared to the euro for quite a while. but yeah, fuck canada!

The problem with the Euro, is once it started to be the official coin of Europe, everything became extremely
expenssive... I remember when a beer cost me 1.50 Gilden... after the Euro- my beer was one Euro!
