ADA-MP1 clip. Should I wipe the dust or through out of window?

I SERIOUSLY want a fucking MP-1. I can't even listen to this yet, I want one so bad - but $100 on eBay! Where the fuck am I supposed to get that kind of money?

Jeff

if your gona throw it out the window make sure your driving infront of my house :worship:

Sounds pretty damn good to me maybe a bit loud and some lows could be cut off but im just a rookie with an opinion.

I think it sounds pretty decent. I'm not a big fan of those particular impulses though - they sound a little harsh to me. I might notch out some 8k if I were you an roll off on the low end. Maybe you could try a couple different impulses and post another clip as well?

You may also want to use a Waves C4. I've begun using Andy's guitar setting with good results.

"through out of window" - hahaha, I left my english somewhere else

I used c4, but maybe too much. I compresed all bands a bit.

I did A/B with SimulAnalog JCM and JCM sound has more life. If nothing else it'll serve as a DI box. :) But I'll try playing with different impulses.

I absolutely loved Spuds guitar sound from Reading Zero (Visionary at the time). He always got the best tone through his MP-1.

Does this sound have a perspective?

I used some Marshal impulses posted around on a board. I don't know if EQed guitars right.
It is kind of soft and lacks maybe a bit definition... I kind of like it, but I like 80's guitar sound too so... :p I am not sure about this Yamaha axe, try also to record something with a better guitar!
Znaci pichish ADA-u a? Libo te racku :p

I've done the mod 3.1 and mod 4mk II to mine. both sound pretty good. I could record some samples of the mod4 mk II if you're interested.
That would be nice!

I still have my MP-1...I'll never get rid of it. Especially now that I have the stuff to do speaker impulses/use them I don't need a poweramp or cab for it anymore. All direct baby! I actually had an 80's rock project come through yesterday and they used it for all the rhythm guitars via reamping and speaker impulses. I'll see if I can get the release from them so I can show some clips. :)
