meh, I don't care. the direction the band is taking isn't to my liking, but hey, it's not my band. Pale Folklore and OSWP are still both brilliant and Agalloch releasing Kent cover tunes can't change that.

Judging from a recent interview, it sounds like the new album will have more prog-rock influences. Agalloch with a Landberk influence, for example, sounds fucking good to me! I can't wait to hear this album anyway. I trust that these guys won't disappoint!!

Fucking lol. Kent is super popular in Norway too. I hate them with a passion, as they've made some of the most annoying songs in the history of man. The worst part is that once you've heard a song of theirs, it sticks to your head like KARLSSONS ULTRA SUPERGLUE. Especially that song with the whistling chorus.. Oh God.

Quote of the day...I'm not usually one to put my expectations too high, even when the album just happens to be the followup to a work of utter perfection, but predicting disaster over the vague words "rock influence" or expressing admiration for bands you hate is idiotic.
