yep, your right....but you know, the first 2 cd's, had no satanic overtones on the covers. ANd they wore normal style of the tiems clothes till ZEP 4.

I do love ZEP. SAB and ZEP are the bands that made me want to play guitar and be in a band.

Yeah I heard something about that. So that's where they got the name from?? I wonder about the ones trying to find out which band member is Jethro. Haaaaaa ha ha!!! Kinda like Pink Floyd, "Which one's Pink?"

It amazes me how huge stars Zep were at their peak. It blows my mind. I was watching the concert movie on VH1 I think a while back, and while Zep aren't my favorite band they were phenomenal musicians.

back to ZEP, well, imo, JOHN P Jones was the core musician. Jimmy, he was a copy cat, and sloppy, but i love teh way he copied the old songs, and his slop, well, if it were food ( i called it slop) it would be a 10 corse meal. The best thing Jim has going for him is his PICK HAND. The fret work, sometimes real fast, but none of the fret work is really that major. I play the axe, as you know, so im just speaking from my experiance in learning nearly every zep song over the yrs.

Speaking of fast....HEARTBRAKER solo, some o fthe bars have 40 notes in them. Count to 4......haahahha

no record comany shirt company, or show house got more than 10 % of ZEP. They set the standar for other rich badns in teh 70's..the stnard for getting paid that is.

It's looking bleak for USA this year. There's all kinds of European dates but no US dates. Grrrrrrrrr.

The last time they toured the states was with trouble actually. You need to find some WITCHFINDER GENERAL 495. Much influence Lee and the guys took from that band. Especially CATHEDRALS early stuff.

on another note, see if you can find the SOUL SACRIFICE ep, and THE ETHEREAL MIRROR, adn FOREST OF EQUALIBRIUM. ANd the newie.
