I figured I'd cram both in the same thread.

Anyways, anyone play either? I just recently got into airsoft a few months ago and I finally have my gun all worked out. It's somewhat entry level(nothing too great, but it's not a 50 dollar walmart gun either). It's a JG36 that I bought off my friend from work, and I'm thinking about having him really turn it into a beast.

On Sunday I'm gonna play my first actual game (not just four people running around in the woods next to my house), so I'm pretty excited about that.

Used to be huge into airsoft. It's died down with my younger brother about to head off for bootcamp. Him and another one of my friends that we airsofted with are going into the marines. We're plannin' on goin to at least one more event before they leave.
We had a bunch of guns but now I just have my two VFC Ak's.
JG's are great guns to start out with. They work good and last long if you don't throw em' around too much.

Paintball is fun stuff. Back in January I started getting into it, got a Spyder MR1 and stuff, plus like 1,500 paintballs for just $50 on Craigslist, but then once I got my camera I never went paintballing again :erk:

My last experience with paintballing was at this place called Dark Armies. It's a big ass basement pretty much, really dark, and the scene is set up like a gunfight in the street. There was so much fucking paint on the concrete that you had to act like you were skiing around the place in order to move. If you tried lifting your feet up to move, you were going down, hard.

They had a rule that if you got shot in the head you weren't out. So in order to extend the matches people would aim for the head. I left that place with about 6-7 gooseeggs on my head, one functioning testicle, and really pissed swearing I'd never go back again.

 sounds like most games of paintball i've played.

i used to go to this place slightly north of boston and it was pretty fun, and it had a sweet sports bar with batting cages next to it so after an exhausting day of running around shooting people i got to stuff my face drink and swing bats.

i have my own guns but after a summer of playing in the woods i havent really picked them up. this thread totally inspires me to soon though.

I've gotten some bad bruises but that's about it. I have comfy baggy paintball pants that I can slide around in and not worry about getting shot in the crotch in lol.

Tomorrow the games gonna be at some junkyard, I generally prefer more urban areas then wooded areas.

Urban areas definently > the woods.
Problem for me and my friends is that all the good urban/indoor places are on the other side of michigan.

Just got back from playing, only 7 people ended up showing up, had a warm up game and then had a nice 2 hour long game where 3 people defended a boat while the others attacked.
