• Endtime [off Katatonia's Brave Murder Day... often overlooked] His voice is that of a man doomed to eternal suffering, haunted by beautiful melodies, and subject to hellish agression. It goes without saying - the end of the times is not to be sneezed at. The whole song is excellent. I'm sorry I meant the whole album.

3. the same part as you Wolff in black rose immortal (so mellow)...by the way can someone tell me how to post quotes!?!?

5. «eerie circles upon the waters» in the Amen Corner (Woh! that rules too!)

Well that's it...I could have done a top 200 but that would be the case with about any aspect of opeth's music.

GOOD ANSWER.

The beginning of "The Twilight Is My Robe" the growls: "In the coldness of night...AHHHHHHHH!!!" That growl is INSANE. I love it. Who said that once? About Akerfeldt being part wolf? That's just it. I swear it myself sometimes.

Well, that's the one that stands out the most for me. The rest are all tied. All. Tied.

overlooked, hey, huh, la de da. anyway dont say that in the katatonia forum, its probably everyones fav song in there. (when i say everyone i mean more in the region of 62.78% )

i love the growls in demon of the fall and i love the first 2 mins of The Funeral Portrait, its awesome, with it building up for the big growl. wow.

the vox on Blackwater Park (the song) are all very emotional and intense. I Love every second of it!

I could not agree more. Sorry, but no other Opeth cd comes close! They all have their moments but MAYH is amazing all the way through. every second. Still Life disappointed the hell out of me after MAYH, but Blackwater Park is a great leap foreward from Still Life. If only for Bleak.
