I'm sorry Ted for ripping you off, but i just had to after listening to it tonight

It's just an all out brutal album.....topped off with an insane cover of The Beatles' song I Want You.

with the beat changes, it never ceases to be interesting, and it goes well with Tommy Baron's intruiging riffs.

all in all, it's one killer album, if you dont have it, get it!

HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

My first Coroner album and the most beloved one.

Always thought that the vox sucked in Coroner, but the band ruled BIG time anyway :kickass: A big shame that we'll see no reunion

Actually I do like the vocals, and trust me I'm the RESIDENT growlers/screechers hater.

After all these years I'm amazed how I got so deep into this band considering how much I hate harsh vocals. Coroner has been one of the bands most searched by me, during a time their CDs were difficult to get.

"Mental Vortex" is their best IMO, the most accomplished, polished and well crafted album. And to me Coroner is ranking the highest when it comes to make scrutiny for thrash bands, highly underrated, sadly missed :waah:

Coroner could have done with Eric A.K then they would have had it all :notworthy

Dunno, Eric is not an astounding vocalist IMO (please JD don't shoot me), maybe someone in the line of Mike Munro.

NOoooo ERIC rocks big time in my book, but as I couldn't remember how Mike sounded, I had a listen and was not impressed.
To me Eric is far superior.

The beauty is in the disagreement :tickled:

Tom Araya would have been nice too (and I don't like Slayer).

you guys liked vortex? coroner is one of my top bands mainly because of rip and punishment, but I thought that they started to lose it with color and completely lost it with vortex. It was just average to me, but by coroner standards, it was way low, I am not even interested in buying grin because of this one, it does have some few saving tracks though.

I love it. "Divine Step", "Sirens", "About Life" and "Semtex Revolution" are all complete winners... and to think I got this album for around $4! One of my best purchases ever in regards to the awesomeness/price ratio
