I've never really watched it, but I have heard others mention that. From my perspective they seem to be fairly typical steel/fight/victory/metal-monster Priest-y lyrics though, so if there's any relation I can't imagine it's a very faithful one.
This album is like the filet mignon of brutal/slam. It'll convince exactly zero people who don't like the genre to change their minds, but anyone who's down with this sound will jizz their pants over it. Holy shit.
Yeah man, this is how slam should be put together. And it helps that DS knows how to write fucking songs, man. Some of the little interludes and shit they toss in just blow my mind.
