Carach Angren's Death Came On A Phantom Ship has been solidly played these past couple of weeks. Stunning album.

Their later Savatage-style period was better than their 80s speed metal period imo. Great pomp-metal.

Yeah, its just all pretty much vicious riff filled blackened crust. A few songs where there are interlude bits, but on the whole it is nonstop.
