Who would you pass off as nasty sludge/doom?

I didn't mean to sound condescending, just that when I read nasty I immediately thought of Iron Monkey riffs or something, something that was less Funeral Doom-y, that's all.
It might help to define my feelings by explaining that I'm not a fan of Thou yet they seem to be the average dude's preferred ideal for Sludge.
