I felt guilty leaving out "In the Shadow of the Horns", but I didn't want to list half the album. That part where Fenriz (I think?) screams UNHOLY BLACK METUHLLL! is hilariously great.

Currently this is kicking my ass Nachtfalke - The Last Battles. Nachtfalke is on par with Zemial for me as far as Bathory worship goes. I feel that I really should be drinking beer when I hear it.
@Master_Yoda77 the only explanation I can give is that it was a funny name in my drunken mind the other day, now though it just seems like something a person who's had their coordinates rearranged might do. Still though I think it's an honourable moniker

Nah mate I'm pretty sure I've seen you mention Morrigan before though. Sounds like I should try and get some of their albums, which are your favourites? Although "6 albums of excellent Bathory worship" is really all the convincing that I need. Thanks for letting me know about the band.

Celts is a good starting point. It worships all eras of Bathory seamlessly. Headcult is pure Hammerheart all the way through whereas the debut is more straight forward black metal.

That's great, I'll order some of this bands albums. It's strange that there haven't been more bands who're making music in the style of Bathory but it's probably a good thing...those few who do it do it very well.

Morrigan are really good, but Celts and Headcult are the only albums I regularly put on. Their earlier work is fine but not that interesting and the newer stuff gets abit tendious. The Mayhemic Truth comp. is good tho!

I'll have to get a list of the best 3 albums off you sometime, I haven't listened to rap since I was a kid driving to the local half pipe in my old mates older brothers Morris minor with his Run DMC tape


Edit: I noticed that you like a lot of rap and I wonder if it's a racial thing, we have spoken about our aboriginal heritage, my father has dark skin, literally there is no doubt that he is aboriginal when you see him but I am sure there is a definite time period there where I grew up as a kid in the 80's where rap consisted of this learn to breakdance triple cassette(I think) came out and forced me to take actual breakdance lessons where I learnt the backspin,electric worm and that thing I can still do with my arms. Bottom line, even though my father was a champion on the sporting field and still is off as well as a Vietnam vet,it was never cool to be 'proud' just tough as fuck and to let your actions speak. Strange nowadays to me that black music has been so widely accepted but it's not something I really care for TBH, I'd rather listen to Hall and Oates I think.
I have to thankyou because in honesty I've been allowed to run wild in this town for nearly 40 years because of my father and the feelings of protection he provided, listening to Nazi music and being a punk and this coming Father's Day I am going to let him know how much he means to me(whenever that is)
