If you like lo-fi death doom with some psychedelic flourishes then you should love em. I agree, their album art commands admiration.

I’m not sure I’d call Acid Witch lo-fi but they’re massive death doom. They take some nods from psychedelia, horror movies, and more and more horror synth.

They take more from the older rocking doom metal than snail pace stuff too so there’s plenty of headbangable riffs and less super slow 9 minute songs.

If you like horror synth, the guy behind the band also does that as Slasher Dave.

Yeah, I'd say Acid Witch owe more to Witchfinder General and Paul Chain than they do, say, Paradise Lost. Just mid-paced horror movie doom with harsh vocals and a ton of spooky keys.
