I'll have to confirm by listening back to back before I can say yes or not but the sound is definitely different and darker so I will probably find it better than Misery for those reasons alone.

Halfway through Misery and while I see why some people might find Misery their best, I think the new one is better at this time. They don't have a bad album though.

I think so, I'd call it their best to date. Somehow the vocals sound much better and musically it feels more rich and less like a blatant Bolt Thrower tribute band. I really liked the more melodic flourishes too. Recommended.
