Anyway, Gjenferdsel's debut I is pretty awesome. Really melodic "patriotic" sounding Norwegian black metal with a great bass presence (as in, the bass tone is mid-to-treble-y and plays audible, interesting basslines).

True, but I think that's the case with most symphonic metal. However, I maintain that With Vilest of Worms to Dwell is better than Opus Magnum.

They mentioned it a few months back but I wouldn't expect it to materialize in the near future at all. They have a ton on their plate right now already. By the way everyone should check out and subsequently buy that Atomic Aggressor comp. they just released. It made me orgasm a little.
