Never really gave 1349 much of a listen,I was kind've over the whole Norwegian thing by the time they came along.It's probably my loss though as i've read some positive reviews about them.
This is one of those albums that you really have to reserve for certain occasions in order to preserve its brilliance. It works as an album even better than some of the classics of the early 90s. Every song flawlessly flows into the next.
Best Amon Amarth album outside of OSFTGH.
Not a big fan non melodic death metal but this is amazing.
