Nightshade Forests is my favourite Summoning release, followed by Stronghold. Kortirion Among the Trees is the best.

Obviously a very different band to the Arch era. I still like this a lot.

Abigor- Verwustung/Invoke the Dark Ages

I feel like Abigor don't get mentioned much anywhere, and when they do it's about their questionable later output. What they sometimes lack in coherence, they more than make up for in youthful energy, passion and ambition on Verwustung, Orkblut and Nachthymnen IMO.

I used to have the original CD version, but a big box of CDs was lost while moving houses when I was younger by my alcoholic mother.

That Root is fucking amazing. I still don't know exactly what to classify it as but it's one of my all time favourites. Satanic Candlemass sounding will do.
