Overall I'm not sure I enjoyed it more than Power Trip's but I'm putting it at #1 anyways. Some little things I could bitch about (mostly production) but overall easily one of the most legit tech-thrash albums I've heard from a young band. Favorite tracks on first impression were 3, 4, and 8.

Those three and Repudiating the Power were also among my highlights in the album. The whole thing is very good.

I've still not heard anything after Operation: Mindcrime and of that lot, my favourite is probably still Rage for Order. Clearly I need to hear Empire though.

Yes, you do. Rage for Order is probably my favorite of the lot as well. I haven't heard anything after Empire up through when they hired the new vocalist. They are decent again tbh.
