Been a not great music year for me but here’s some of the ones I’ve been recently listening to.


Ghoulhouse. Old Razorback style Swedish chainsaw. Murky and has a bad ass horror movie trip hop outro.

Purification - great traditional doom metal from the states. These guys can’t find anyone stateside to release their music. Annoying.


Vestal Claret - Phil is still at it. It’s a fucking shame he and Chad can’t get along. We could have had a new Ho13 album with the complete lineup this year. Instead we have this and one man Ho13... still good though.


Dolore. Some horror synth stuff. Was a good Halloween listen. Lost soundtracks from shitty horror movies that don’t exist!

Feel like it's unknown because it’s on Horror Pain Gore Death. I’m fond of the guys that run the label because they’ve hooked me up with some rarer horror/death discs throughout the years. They release like 98% garbage but they occasionally drop an album like this one
