I know power metal is not high on a lot of people's list, but Heleno Vale's Soulspell Metal Opera is blowing me away. With ten vocalists, six musicians, and a fantastic story.....this CD keeps me smiling from the first track to the last!!! One of the best power albums I have heard!!

Haven't heard RS yet, but it's less accessible than MSFHG, has better atmosphere and vocals. I've listened to it a ton but I'm not quite placing it above their latest. Still, you need this record.

You need to. I can't compare to that one but it's a much different beast than the latest. Wouldn't say better either, but it's dark, melodic, evil stuff.

I'll be getting By the Blessing before too long though.
