Don't care if they're a bit puffed up or there's some enlongated tracks, just looking for great stuff.

Kamelot

The albums Epica and The Black Halo comprise a retelling of the Faust myth.

Turisas- The Varangian Way (about Vikings sailing down the Rus and Dnieper rivers to trade with Europeans)

And every single Rhapsody album is part the same goddamn story.

Depends on the type of music you like :
Vision Divine - Stream of Consciousness ( Prog )
Ayreon - Electric Castle
Human Equation
.... well all of Ayreon albums ( Prog )

Dark Lynacy - The Diarist ( Melo Death )
Slechtwalk - Falconry ( Christian Black )
Avantasia - The Metal opera I and II ( Power )
...........

Just say what music you like ....

SPECIAL RECOMENDATION :
Green Carnation - Light of day , day of darkness
Only 1 track , 60 minutes long , masterpiece

Just say what music you like ....
AC/DC, Allman Brothers, Beatles, Bon Jovi, Boston, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Death, Dio, Disturbed, The Doors, Dream Theater, Edgar Winter Group, Elvis Presley, Enigma, Genesis, George Thorogood, The Guess Who, Guns N Roses, Heart, Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Judas Priest, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Metallica, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Queen, Queensryche, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Rush, Santana, Scorpions, Serj Tankian, Shinedown, Slayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sting, Symphony X, System Of A Down, Tesla, Three Days Grace, Tool, Van Halen, The Who, Yes, Yngwie Malmsteen, ZZ Top

And I'm pretty sure I missed a few.

Vision Divine - Stream of Consciousness ( Prog )

Vision Divines "SOC" is good indeed.

I think Vision Divine "Perfect Machine" (prog/rock/metal) is an overall better cd musically and as a story. Futuristic mankind is perfect and in no need of faith/God or so on... there is a price to pay?

Pyramaze "Legend of the Bone Carver" (epic/power/metal) is my favorite musically and as a story. Evil is taking over and the good rest upon a divine childs life expirience to get rid of evil, bring back good lifes by carving ancient writings into the bones of the dead and restore peace .

Of course Queensryche "Operation Mindcrime" a more realistic concept. Drug addict, a Prostitute turned Nun, and a dangerous underground movement.

Going to have to agree with the above. I believe every King Diamond album is a concept album. You can't go wrong unless you hate high pitched vocals.

I only have Abigail, but it is truly awesome.

Opeth - My Arms, Your Hearse and Still Life

.

Also:
Amon Amarth - Once Sent From The Golden Hall
Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime
Bathory - Hammerheart (debatable), Blood On Ice
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Blind Guardian - Nightfall In Middle Earth
Avantasia - The Metal Opera Pt 1
Emperor - Prometheus: The Discipline Of Fire And Demise

not a fan but I think Orphaned Land's Mabool fits

The whole album is about a great flood , with some elements from Christian , Jewish and Islam , both taking elements from thair religion and culture ( music ) , one of the best albums i have ever heard .
I would clasify it as etno rock/metal with ocational death metal elements ( not much ) .

Iced earth - dark saga

Symphony X - Odyssey

Negura Bunget has some conceptual albums as well ( black metal ) really kick ass band !

And you may really like alestorm !
