Albums that have a storyline

Like I said, not a Tull fan either. Try fuckin Tulls Greatest Hits.:)
Kiss is closer to the style of music that I like-just think they are so overated, over-greatest hits, over reunion, overodone, over-commercialized etc.
They are cartoon rock at its best...wait, don't they have a cartoon show?
The only good thing about Kiss is Gene Simmons, who supposably helped Van Halen get noticed / started.:kickass:

Fuckin' dot. By the way, I need some Jethro Tull, what's their best album?

Try Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, A Passion Play (pt2) or Warchild to start I guess

Have you heard it? I doubt it. It's an awesome album, it just sounds nothing like a KISS record. KISS haters can flame the shit out of them all they want, but you can't really put something down with no knowledge of it. I know KISS are massive cunts, but they've made some good music, and IMO "The Elder" musically showcases what talents they have at arrangement and songwriting, even if it is pretentious, OTT, and bloated. But hey, at least they're not Emerson, Lake, & Palmer or Jethro Tull.

Are you fucking gay?

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
KISS - Music From The Elder
King Diamond - Fatal Portrait (half of it)
King Diamond - Abigail
King Diamond - "THEM"
King Diamond - Concpiracy (sequel to "THEM")
King Diamond - The Eye
King Diamond - The Graveyard

Fuck, pretty much any King album, but those are the best

edit: this post pretty much answers my question

edit 2: There's nothing wrong with early Kiss. They did write their share of terrible songs but who hasn't?

Aqualung is probably their best known. It's got lots of great tunes on it.

Mathias gave some good ones.

Other than that, I believe that all these albums kick major amounts of ass. They're slightly harder to listen to, but if you give them time they're really rewarding:

Thick As a Brick (only two tracks, the whole album is one song)
Minstrel in the Gallery
Songs From the Wood
Heavy Horses (my favorite album; epic and folky as hell)
Stormwatch
(the above three are part of what Tull called their "folk trilogy;" they're awesome records, but Songs and Heavy are the best)
Broadsword and the Beast (kind of 80s, but great nonetheless)

kronos- the hellenic terror
very long songs some even above 30 mins.

??? there's just one single song longer than 5 minutes!

Kronos - The Hellenic Terror

1.The Road of Salvation 04:00
2.Bringers of Disorder 04:04
3....Until the End of Time 04:53
4.Suffocate the Ignorant 03:29
5.A Huge Cataclysm 04:36
6.Tricephalic Hellkeeper 03:40
7.Petrifying Beauty, Part 1 - Divine Vengeance 03:19
8.Petrifying Beauty, Part 2 - The Murderous Reflection 03:52
9.Ouranian Cyclops 05:06
10.Maze of Oblivion 04:16
