That being said, I prefer passive myself. It's just that when it comes to active, SD livewire > the rest.

EMG 81 it's okay,but a bit more ''attack'' or ''balls'' or call it like you want could be good,so if Blackouts really are more powerful I might try them,even though what I'd really like is Alexi's old pick-up and gainbooster(the jackson ones,they had really great tone) or,knowing that it's very difficult to get them nowadays,an EMG HZ or a passive Seymour Duncan with MM04(not because it's Alexi's but because of the gainboosters that go on the guitar body it's IMO the best atm and I don't use/don't want to use pedalboards or pedal boosters,I want all switches on the guitar)
