haha that's great, that guy got fuckin owned. to be honest, of the 3 times i saw the guys the most enjoyable time, to me, was the damnation tour..but, hey whatever hah.

I thought maynards voice was kinda shit live (with both tool and apc). Both bands were cool live though, especially apc's longer version or orestes.

i saw maynard "live" on tv and he was terrible. never seen him at a real show though. and yes, tool's silly "mystique" is a gimmick. maynard is a joke - claims it's all about the music but then goes on stage in drag. lame. bands who say "it's all about the music" should NEVER get on a stage and get paid. that is pure baloney. Two points to make:

1) Alice in Chains playing without Layne is sacrilege. He cannot be replaced.
2) I hate this whole selling out crap that people come out with. 'Hey man, you said it was all about the music. You sold out'. What turd. Selling out is what INXS has done. Making a living from your music is not.

I don't see what's so great about Maynard - i love Tool.. good music.. but i don't see why so many people worship him. He really isn't anything special.
