Any fans? I used to be a huge fan when I was at boarding school and am trying to get back into it now, but I have no fuckin' clue where to watch games. Anyone know anywhere? I rely on internet-post-game-reports.

I've watched the All Blacks all my life...but yeah, I have no clue which TV channel shows the rugby in the US. It used to be Fox World Sports, but this turned into Fox Soccer Channel for obvious reasons.

The Haka. It's awesome. When I was in New Zealand, I watched 10-14 year-old boys perform a haka in some school performance. That was quite amusing.

I'd imagine. Seen them live a couple of times now. I'm glad they made it to Australia and New Zealand, countries often neglected by bands from the northern hemisphere.

I must admit I've only been to the South Island so far, gonna make up for that next time I go to New Zealand.

@OpethNZ: I spent a lot of time in ChCh, had a lovely host family in Avonside. Any good rock/ metal bars there? So I know where to go next time. We spent most of our evenings in pubs watching the soccer worldcup matches.

rock/metal bars are pretty much non-existent here unfortunately, about the only one that has that sort of atmosphere is "the Rocky Cola" in town. hehe i just got back from opeth concert myself on sunday, was pretty amazing, very grateful for the opeth fellows to include us in their tour
