alternative to drumagog & aptrigga???

or you can use Logics audio to MIDI function and use the EXS24 to trigger a sample.

how exactly do i use the logic application? is it a plugin or where in logic is it?

its within logic - can't remember where, maybe the score feature? have a play around or search in the manual.

Probably the fact that they're not free

I'm interested in this as well... Still, tho, I think aptrigga is a great bang-for-the-buck plug-in, but I MUCH prefer Drumagog.

Yeah, I definitely prefer Drumagog too over aptrigga strange how its pretty split round here with peoples preferences...

^Shame that the only one in the post you made that works for Mac is KTDrumTrigger and apTrigga.

ok i've figured its just too much bother trying to get this working - i have drumagog working on my windows machine so ill just trigger my tracks there and bring them into my mac later - thanks for the tips chaps
