Everybody knows he had no other choice. He had to get a new guitar asap and Jackson/Fender couldn't offer that. Would you wait for a year to get a free custom Jackson if you could get a free custom ESP right away?

That might well be the case, but when a guy is saying "It's not even a Jackson" at least I get the impression that he thinks a guitar isn't good unless it's a Jackson. It would've been a whole other deal if he'd said something like "and it's a Dillion ffs".
