Amon Amarth tonight.

by the way... apparently there's another show going on upstairs, some pop-punk shit. Should make for interesting fun. >:)

You going too? I have been looking forward to this show for a long time now. Last time I saw Amon Amarth was on Sounds of The Underground and they got a shitty time slot. They should have headlined instead of Gwar in my opinion. Tonight should be fun though.

I am aware that he/she was (trying to) be funny. I am not as much a "newb" to message boards as you may think.

 Don't take it so personal mate.

It's not because he was being funny, it's because we are forever going off topic.

I am also going to the show tonight in Worcester. My roommate is the only person I'll know there (I think). Maybe I can stand around awkwardly with some of you? I am a girl, if that helps.

A girl at a metal show in MA? Dude they will never find you, you'll need to post a picture. haha.

I meant it might help for acceptably lurking around.

Anyway, you'll recognize me because I have very long hair, and I'll be wearing an Amon Amarth sweatshirt and have a silver mjolnir around my neck.

(Uh, on second thought I think I have some pictures around here somewhere...)

I was pretty impressed with The Absence, Belpehgor, not so much so. Ensiferum was excellent, and AA crushed as always. Can't hardly move my head today.
Got to meet and hang out with the infamous Tomasz, which marks about the first time I've ever met an "internet person". Beer was drunk and it was good.

They are some of the nicest/coolest guys you will ever meet. It's bands like that who I have agreat amount of respect for, they appreciate the fans and know that they (the band) wouldn't be where they are today without them (the fans.)

They truly are. I've met my fair share of bands that treated me like I was a commodity or a groupie.
Although I was shy and stupid 99.9% of the time, the band could tell I was nervous and was patient with me. (I did have one moment that I was able to pull it together, thank Johan H and shake his hand)

I'm about to get yelled at but..
Even though I am not thrilled with the new album, I will stick by AA for many years to come.
