I actually just gave it a spin yesterday.

The weather changes....the black/pagan metal is being stored away in archives until the fall....we're now in traditional, speed, melodic death, thrash, and Sabbath season.

So yeah, I'd put it away for a few months, put it on yesterday and was pretty much blown away. Right now, I'm looking at bookends when it comes to AA. Their "Sorrow" EP and newest releases are probably my favoUrites.

Both excellent, but as far as live performances go, AA beats almost ANY band out there IMO.

AA is indeed a good live band. And D666's live performance just didn't draw me in.

Best live band... Nevermore. Better stage presence, more energetic, better musicians, tighter sound, and obviously, better songs. Arguing this simply makes you gay. So confess your love of man ass if you wish.

Unchain the Wolves seems to be much more hit or miss than the more straightforward Phoenix Rising, Cold Steel...For an Iron Age & Terror Abraxas.

You absolutely need to hear those other releases, you won't be disappointed. I suggest Phoenix Rising to start.
