AMT Legends R1 Quick Tone Test

Got my AMT Legends R1 pedal today, and I must say I'm liking it a great deal.

Here's a quick riff with an SD-1 in front,

That doesn't sound too bad. What amp are you running with this? It's a preamp pedal correct?

No amp. Just using the pedal as a preamp right into Reaper. Chain is

TS9/SD-1> R1 pedal> DAW> EQ> mixIR

Was using amp sims before, but I think the R1 sounds better. Certainly more "real" sounding, especially when used in conjunction with a real effects pedal.

I tried the M1 pedal previously, but I don't think it's cut out for "metal" really. More a classic rock pedal, imo. Am thinking of trying out the P1, E1, and B1 pedals now as well.
