I would like to thank Glenn, Tom, Jonas, Henrik, Rikard, & Fredrik for being so gracious and accommodating for allowing my beautiful Fiancé Angelia the opportunity to give me the memory of a lifetime and propose to me on the ProgPower stage.

I have been following Evergrey ever since I heard "For Every Tear That Falls" off of THE DARK DISCOVERY and fell in love with Tom's overwhelmingly emotionally unique voice. I have written reviews of the bands albums for DETRITUS (E-zine), talk to the EG guys for interviews, seen them every chance I have had including the Göteborg DVD shoot. This was the first band I took Angelia to see back in 2004 when they were touring with Iced Earth and she was amazed by them, especially how energetic and intense Jonas was on the drums. Evergrey is one band I can say that I have grown with from the start and I am so happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve! Thanks guys for being so gracious to allow us to share the stage with you during your headlining appearance at PP VII.

Glenn, I would never claim to have walked in your shoes, but being in a band myself I have played my fair share of shows/fests... I know how hectic your job is and the enormous responsibility that you have on your shoulders. For you to take the time and help Angelia out in providing her the most perfect setting to ask me to marry her...well all I can say is that your heart is enormous, you are a very compassionate and caring man, and you have proved once again that this festival is all about the fans, the music, and the bands...we will forever remember your gesture and friendship, it truly shows the kind of person you are.

To all of my fellow ProgPowerites and all of those who shook our hands, congratulated us and gave us well wishes, I truly thank you....When I talk about ProgPower to those who have never experienced it I always say of the 1200 or so that come each year, more than 75% of those people are the core audience that come each year. I see so many recognizable faces and although I don't know all of the names, a nod of the head or a wave of the hand and I feel like I'm at howm....this crowd is the coolest crowed in the world...there are never any fights, everyone is so accommodating and friendly ...how many places can you go in the world and talk to any one of 1200+ people about Pagan's Mind, Vanden Plas, Iced Earth, and they all know as much about the bands if not more than you?!?!?! That is special ...truly special. This festival is the best going and now it has given me a memory of a lifetime that I WILL NEVER FORGET.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

If the crew happens to have an extra “balls of steel” award lying around, Angelia deserves it! I’m just glad we didn’t wear our Maiden "Killers" shirts on the same night…that would have been sorta like showing up at the Senior Prom in matching dresses.

Congrats, best wishes, and many happy ProgPowers to you both!

YOU LUCKY SUMBITCH YOU!!! You have any idea how many of us were screaming "YOU BETTER SAY YES!" at you??? That was the experience of a lifetime, Sean. You better rock her world til death do you part!

Congratulations to Sean and Angelia. We'll be there for your wedding at Wacken Open Air '07!!!

Congratulations....didn't know that was "one of us" up there.

HOWEVER....afterward, we were thinking it would have been classic if you'd paused, looked thoughtful, and then said "No."

--And then said "Just kidding! Yes!" right after that. :heh:

Many congratulations to you, good sir. Is Angelia any relation to Paul LaPlaca, of October Thorns/Grey Skies Fallen fame?
