Freakin nice!

Reminded me of skyfire a lot, and i like that.. nice melodies combined with some rougher stuff.. really cool Mulder..

Mix:

Nothing to say about it really.. it sounds good to me, everything fits really well, ampfarm sounds good, drums are solid, i think it could use some more bass though, the whole mix, or up the bass guitar a bit, but it sounds very cool overall!

Lowmid is lacking a bit, they play riffs mostly so there's a hole between the bass and the guitarfundamentals. I'll try to give the bass a bit of distortion, maybe that'll help. Cool that you like the ampfarm, took me some serious tweaking to get a decent tone. Would love to have a PodXT though..

Sounds really good man. I think I would like to hear the kick a bit more, and the guitars could use just a hair more beef. But it definately is fine the way it is.

Sounds great, tho on my speakers the snare I think was a little too loud...perhaps compress just a tad more or lower the volume just a bit...IMO

I took a second listen and I agree the kicks should probably come up too...BTW the guitars and Vox sound rad...Ampfarm??!

I'll put some more compression on the kick/snare and turn up the kick around 2k a bit, maybe that'll work.
I used the mesa model on the ampfarm with the big cabinet and some exciting, eq'ing, compression etc..
The voice is SM57 through HPfilter, compression and HEAVY limiting, exciting (to bring out some articulation) and at the end serious de-essing. And some room ofcourse.
Just tried to slip a sampled cello in the mix to beef up the guitars (secret weapon) but that didn't work..

Sounds like a happier version of graveworm to me, god i love graveworms tone on Engraved In Black, anyone else agree?
