Andy, if ever you read this message
, what treatments do you do to your guitars when mixing ? I know you get the best of the amp, and have a great sound from the start, but do you EQ your guitars a lot ?
I know you use the C4 to tighten the lows/low meds.
When I mix guitars, if they were tracked correctly, I find out that "key" frequencies to play with are something like : 90 Hz (bottom end), 250 Hz-300 Hz (low meds), 500-1 Khz (I have to cut there when I tracked too middy guitars), 2,2 khz (mediator), 3-5 khz (presence and fizz), 10 khz (air). What EQ do you use and do you start with some "key" frequencies too ? Do you apply other treatments ?
Thanks
