Announcement coming soon?

I have the worst feeling that it is going to be Nevermore. With Will putting his $250 of cum drinking cash in, a Big announcement on its way, plus that bad feeling in my stomach I get before bad news....it is all adding up.

I hope you're right. Although Primordial is who I really want.

this is pretty hard on the people traveling in for this fest to sit with only 3 bands confirmed and no clear idea who else is going to be added. I wanted to book this whole trip by now and focus on my other expenses, but with no clear announcement coming, I'm glad I didn't spend the money yet.

I'd be pretty damn happy if they got Nevermore. I think they are one of the premier bands in American metal .. a true stalwart.

I see the logic with Nevermore.
Though Broderick just left.
I think they have a replacement.

Warrel is releasing a solo album soon though, so I would guess maybe if anything, a solo performance?
Not sure how exciting that would be.

Mar. 30 - San Francisco, CA - The Independent (w/ LAAZ ROCKIT, SADUS)
Apr. 05 - Sayerville, NJ - Starland Ballroom
Apr. 06 - New York, NY - BB King Blues Club & Grill
Apr. 10 - Santa Ana, CA - The Coach House (w/ DEATH ANGEL, LAAZ ROCKIT)
Apr. 11 - Las Vegas, NV - The Canyon Club (w/ DEATH ANGEL, LAAZ ROCKIT)
Apr. 12 - Hollywood, CA - The Key Club (w/ DEATH ANGEL, LAAZ ROCKIT)
May 03 - Mokena, IL - The Pearl Room / Chicago Powerfest

I don't know anything about Laaz Rockit, but I'd be all for Testament bringing Death Angel with them to Powerfest if they promised to play Act III in its entirety!!

I've heard that Nevermore is scheduled to play at the NEHMF. I think they were playing on Sunday night. CPF is a week later and on the way back to Seattle (depending on how they are traveling). Will B might have more info on this.

This article from Blabbermouth mentions them at the NEHMF.
"Following the NILE tour, we'll be playing at the New England Hardcore And Metal Festival alongside those bands: MESHUGGAH, MINISTRY, NEVERMORE, ENSIFERUM, HEMLOCK, ELUVEITIE, TYR and more April 27 at The Palladium in Worcester, MA."

"Why do you think they call it dope.... whoa-oh"

I still dig that disc... have to spin it every once in a while. Still, I'm way more partial to Wasted in America.
