"My Apocalypse" Lyrics

Claustrophobic, Crawl out of this skin
High Explosive, Reach and pull that pin
Fear Thy Name: Extermination
Desecrating hail of fire

So we cross that line
Into the crypt; Total eclipse
Suffer unto my apocalypse

Deadly vision, Prophecy reveal
Death magnetic, Pulling closer still
Fear thy name: Annihilation
Desolating hail of fire

So we cross that line
into the crypt; total eclypse
Suffer unto my apocalypse

My Apocalypse

Crushing metal ripping skin
Tossing body manequins
Spilling blood bleeding gas

Mangled flesh snapping spines
Dripping bloody valentine
shattered face spitting glass

Split apart
Split apart
Split apart
Split

Spit it out

What makes me drift a little bit closer
Dead man takes the steering wheel
What makes me know what time to cross over
Want to repeat until i feel

See thru the skin the bones they are rattled
Future and past that disagree
Flesh falls away the bones they all shatter
Pass time to see the end in me

See the end in me

Claustrophobic, climb out of this skin
High explosive, Reach and pull that pin

Violate; annihilate
lose into my eyes
Obliterate; exterminate
If not accept; deny

Fear thy name as hell awakens
Destiny in hail of fire

So we cross that line
Into the crypt; total eclypse
Suffer unto my apocalypse

Tyrants awaken my apocalypse
Demon awaken my apocalypse
Heaven awaken my apocalypse
Suffer forever my apocalypse

This song sounds a hell of alot better then the others that we've heard.

The main parts felt a little bit poor but I like the middle part.

It feels like they really want to recreate the magic from the 80'ies again but arent quite able to do so. Still good enough for me.

Really enjoyed this. Not as good as some of their classic thrashers, but it's still good. Cool lyrics and vocal delivery, plus some nice riffs and soloing.

Listened earlier. As with the other songs it sounds shit tbh.

You're a really cool guy, ya know that?

If most of the album is like this then it will be better than the Black Album (which im not to fond of in the first place).

The Black Album had some great songs on it. Everything was memorable, it just had a few ballady songs & most of the singles weren't very good. Everything else on the album was pretty decent.

I haven't listened to the newer song yet, but the last one posted was good enough to warrant looking into the album.

the drum sounds terrible hot damn, but I think I saw something that said that sound came out online because of some problem...a thrash song apparently? surprised..cant wait till it leaks :)

It´s better than anything from St.Anger but that´s not saying much is it. Better performances and some catchy riffs but still no sight of the oh so important red thread that makes a song a song.

It's like they're trying so hard to be thrash but don't get it anymore. Thrash doesn't have weird dissonant chords (except Voivod, anyway), thrash doesn't have chords randomly cut out of riffs, thrash doesn't have two-chord jumpdafuckup moments like in that chorus. The middle break actually has some REAL thrash, with the really cool Iced Earth-like triplet riff, but it can't save the song from the verse and chorus. I think the riff at the end is ripped out of "Whiplash".

It's so almost cool, but it's not quite there...

I noticed quite alot of influences. The riff that goes around 03:00 has alot of Iron Maiden to it and the stuff around 02:05 has alot of Slayer in it. The basic verse stuff is just really easy thash chugging though.

The first single was like a compilation of influenes but mostly from their own band. Alot of stuff could be traced back to RTL/MOP as well as s/t and the loads.
