Sony would be the death of Anthrax as would any of the majors. Remember Stomp442? Maybe if they were writing Nickelback songs a major would be good.
If you have any idea of how things work you'd know that all they need a
label for is distribution and money for promotion. The label needs to hire independent promoters for radio and publicity. It takes $$$$$$. Hire the indies and Anthrax will be all over the place. It's payola, just done "legally."
Hopefully wherever they end up, that will happen.
It's true what the guy on Blabbermouth said. The deal for Sanctuary to buy Beyond didn't happen and Beyond will continue as a label with new financing.
It's also true that the jackasses on Blabbermouth talk loads of shit. Get on there and defend Anthrax.
