Hey All; I'm stumped as to what Guitar Scott is playing this tour does anyone know out there? I saw Dannys new axe, it's a custom PRS with the TMNT's on the body but still can't quite make out the make of Scotts fantastic new one, send away!

He plays RANDALL V-MAX amps and butt ugly washburns, Dan plays an ugly PRS and I have no clue what kinda amps he uses, but he has a RANDALL isolation 1 x 12 " cab for miking purposes I saw his roady hook it up!

I must say both guitar tones have sounded much better in the past.....They were killer don;t get me wrong IMO this tour is the best they have done in over 15 years but the guitars were weak sounding IMO...

Hey thanks a lot! but what does IMO Mean?

Scott should have stayed with Jackson guitars, and Marshall amps, the randall amps imo sound too brittle and harsh a bit like a fuzz pedal. I played his new washburn and the randall amp at the frankfurt music show in germany, sounded cool, but i can get a great anthrax sound with my telecaster and line 6 amp at home!!!

Anyone else played the new scott ian signtaure guitar, what do you think???

agreed with that

Personally I think Jackson have some of the best looking guitars in metal, but that doesn't mean that they are the best option.

It's not about the way they look, it's how they sound that matters...... just my opinion anyway...

Anthrax could come out with banjo's and spoons and still sound better that Ulrich and Co.........

i am pretty sure his washburns will sound identical to the jacksons, same body woods, same pickups = same sound

unless he has changed the spec slightly, which jackson could easily have done...

the washburns are pretty ugly too... the jacksons jj's looked awesome

Maybe Washburn have changed some specs slightly - their must be a valid reason why Scott took up Washburn and left Jackson. e.g maybe the Washburn has different tone controls than the Jackson - just guessing here mind you.....

Aren't Washburn and Randall owned by the same entity ? Maybe their was a good sweetner deal involved.

Hey, I would gladly accept a Jackson or Washburn sig model :)

no prob we can help you :Spin:
