On the one hand I applaud this, but on the other hand, I must ask, who, other than Anthrax, do you like (in the realm of the metal genre)???????? I have been slagged on this board a couple of times for my dislike of Maiden. As a kid i loved em, i've seen them thrice however any band with lyrics such as "the golden goose is on the loose and never out of season" deserve to be left in the dark ages with Saxon.

I think the tour will bring about reasonable success. But really, Anthrax will be playing the same venues they did with John, but instead of only playing for 600 or 700 people, they may sell some shows out, but it is not like they are going to filling up sheds and arenas. Then, after the novelty of the tour wears off, it won't be a big deal. There isn't a huge demand for an album with Belladonna. That is why I don't like this reunion. A lot of times they backfire on the bands......

And for mr. IRONMAIDENFAN: You have to grow, be a man, kids. Leave you're mom , shave your Mullet haircut and change you're heavy metal t-shirt look for something more actual. 1988 is over, welcome to 21e century! And an high pitch off key singer, with 80's long hair and stretch jeans, it's not what kids and today's audience want to go see and buy!!

i didn't have pubes when anthrax was with belladonna. but fuck you anyway. I listened to Sound of WHite Noise and was blown away. Then i listened to Among the Living and laughed at the vocals.
you probably didn't have pubes either coming on here and flaming like a 12 year old wannabe. so you might have pubes now but not very many.

As for the obvious Sch...sch...schi.....schiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizm between Belladonna/Bush fans on this board I will state that
a) I am an old schooler
b) I love Anthrax the band (and that includes lineup)
c) will deal with John out of the band when it and if it happens

Actually one positive spin I am looking forward too is finally seeing Danny & Frankie back again in the band. Say what you want about Danny but FUCK I miss his playing on their albums.

BTW on another note - picked up the latest (well here in OZ) Metal Hammer with Rob Halford on the front and it has a fantastic article on SOWN in there. Talks to Scott and co about the whole recording process and what each song means and shit. KILLER FUCKN Article for what I consider my personal fav Bush Era album.

I bought FOM in '84 when I was 18 years old and I first saw them live with Raven and Metallica in 8/84 in NYC. Since then, I bought every album when it was released and saw every tour multiple times.
I became a bigger fan in '93 when I heard SOWN.
I prefer the Bush years over the Belladonna years.
'Nuff said.
