Anthrax Real Video doing Only

Since when is a half step an "absurd degree" of detuning? LOL I guarrantee that if Bush were still in the band they'd be flirting with Db/C again. They might as well have borrowed Hetfield's baritone guitars or completely switched to nu metal.

Half a step is nothing, now if they went drop c it would be alarming.

I generally like Anthrax in almost any form they have taken. I do prefer the Joey years but thats what I first discovered and listened to during my teen years and was wicked disappointed when they fired Joey. But the Bush years I did like for the most part, they had some good tunes

Anthrax would be stupid to down-tune their guitars for the new record now when Joey is back in the band. You have to tune the guitars to suit the vocalist. Ha half-step to Eb is probable but not Db or C. They are not stupid enough to try to make Joey sing stuff thats out of his natural range.

I wasnt around here for the reuinion years and cant say anything about how fans acted then but I see things today and all I can say is that the Bush fans in general make asses of themselves trying to deify Bush and put all the hate on Joey. And how is it logical to bash one singer because other fans bashed the other one years ago? Stop acting like children people.

My point is that 6er claims the Belladonna fans treated Bush with respect over the years when the exact opposite was the case. In fact, many never gave him an honest chance in all the years he sang for Anthrax. I'm not trying to deify Bush and put hate on Joey. I'm happy that Joey is back w/ the band. I like the albums from 85 to 91 that he was on. However, I grew up on the Bush years. Those tunes are personal to me (made me want to play guitar, gave me hope during 2 separate bouts of depression in my life, etc...). It sucks to see people swearing that period off and claiming that fans never cared about Bush or those tunes when I know that myself and others did. It's a respect thing more than anything else...

Same here. My bouts of depression were proximate to the releases of Vol. 8 and WCFYA.

You run your mouth far too much mate. The guy was obviously being a bit serious there. No need to be a complete fuckhead.

Btw, to set the record straight, I'm not trying to start trouble with other Belladonna fans. I think what's happening with the band right now w/ Joey singing again is great. They seem to have found their purpose again since Bush can't/won't commit full time. I respect Joey, his voice, the records he performed on, and his great live performances. I'd much rather it be him singing again for Anthrax than some unknown guy or another veteran who simply might not fit the role.

Sorry to you guys if I caused any hard feelings. Except 6er of course

I agree, Anthrax has helped this guy out during bad times with his life, I can relate to that as well--were some lyric or feeling in a song just sticks out and you can identify with it. Thats what music is all about.

Since Joey can't even handle E and he is definitely struggling with the lows in Only it's completely absurd they still play it one step down and leave him mumbling on stage.

It's funny you should say "beast," because Bush's limitations were obvious on that tune. Nevertheless, Bush was a trooper, for the most part, and sounded great on the albums and was more than serviceable in the live setting. It's a shame Bushbabies can't treat Joey the way Joey fans treat Bush.

I got nothing against Joey, i am just saying i didn't like what i heard from this tour. He did better on the reunion tour, he sounded very good then. I really disappointed that Joey sounds like this on Only i would have expected much more.

Oh, and from what i read here Bush fans were very diplomatic until you came around and started posting your "NickelBush" name-calling game and similar stuff. YOU are constantly picking on Bush and Bush fans, praising Joey like he was some legend, even putting him on the same level with Dickinson and Dio. As a Bush fan you can't help but starting to hate Joey when you have to hear this bullshit over and over, because it's fucking ridiculous.

There's no reasoning with that guy, just let it go.

The video quality was crap, but from what I gathered he did a good job. I figured he would, Joey is a solid singer and this is one of the easier Bush era songs for him to do.

Now lets see if he can do stuff like Hy Pro Glo, Fueled or What Doesn't Die

I'm still not interested in this lineup, I liked the Joey era, but I prefere the Bush era, I know the band needs to move on and Bush doesn't really want to tour and I don't blame him...

.

It's high time we all showed some solidarity by putting our differences aside and hating NickelBush together.

Kinda funny that in past threads, you cited those Nickelbush (as you call them) albums as some of your favorites.

So suck it, sheep. All you do is go with the crowd.

i think the real hardcore joey fans stayed away when bush was in the band,i don tthink they hated on bush too mu ch they simply stopped liking anthrax, with joey back in band its only natural that thing are gonna heat up,bush fans have winged alot more i think,i like both singers.

Wow... I'm feeling sick now... Joey just CAN'T sing aggressive and hit notes.

There are some watches with the term "6er" in their names, maybe 6er is really Danny Spitz:devil:

That would actually make sense!:loco:

Well. he does slag off V8 and WCFYA, the two albums he definately had no involvement with (go back to the infamous interview during the reunion when Danny claimed to have written Stomp), why no mention of SOWN or Stomp sending him into a depression??

The in depth knowlege of the "business side" of the band, e.g. Bushthrax ticket revenue v the reunion revenue etc etc. Maybe it is the wee man himself having fun recuperating from his recent illness!

As far as the detuning goes, since the music is already recorded I don't think it can change now. I know they're gonna redo some stuff, anyone know what tuning the album was recorded in? Huge Bush supporter but glad we got Joey instead of another unknown, at least the history brings back happy memories of when I first got into Anthrax. I support Joey 100% headed to the theater shortly to see the show, I'll post my review for anyone who can't see it. Rule the show Anthrax, I know you will!:kickass:
